The end of 2010 Summer is being very interesting in Madeira Island, in only 3 weeks Madeira got already 3 first records, from which 2 sandpipers - the Sharp-tailed and the Solitary - and now a Pacific Golden PloverPluvialis fulva observed on the 14th September 2010 in Caniçal coast by Catarina & Hugo from Madeira Wind Birds together with their nephews Mariana and Rodrigo.
The bird was seen in the evening so the light was not much for good photos but its main features can be seen on these.
Another great sighting for Madeira!
