Tufted duck - 2nd record for Madeira

On the 21st and on the 22nd of February 2008 a female Tufted duck Aythya fuligula was seen in Fanal by Madeira Wind Birds and its customers. This is the second record for Madeira with the last one seen more than a hundred years ago, in 1906.

Seawatching from Lugar de Baixo 4 Macaroneasian Shearwaters Puffinus baroli were scoped.
