Trip Report - Porto Santo Island

Rabo Bank group (Holland), Catarina Fagundes, Hugo Romano and Tânia Pestana (Madeira Wind Birds)

27th September - 4 Grey Herons, 1 adult male Mallard, heard some Red-legged Partridges, 1 Curlew Sandpiper, many Spanish Sparrows, some Berthelot's Pipits, 4 Hoopoes, some Canaries, 4 Kestrels, 5 Buzzards, some Plain Swifts, 1 Common Tern, and many Yellow-legged Gull.

28th September - 1 Moorhen, 1 Spotted Crake, 4 Hoopoes, many Spanish Sparrows, some Berthelot's Pipits, 4 Kestrels, 5 Buzzards, 3 Grey Herons, more than 20 Red-legged Partridges, 1 Lesser black-backed Gull (ssp. graellsii), 4 Sanderlings, 1 Common Tern, many Yellow-legged Gulls, 5 Little Egrets,
some Canaries, some Plain Swifts.
