An amazing set of 3 afternoon pelagic trips varying a lot with position and ocean conditions! As usual, Cory's shearwater Calonectris borealis and Bulwer's Petrel Bulweria bulwerii were present everyday, though the Cory's had a nice display on the 1st day as we passed the tip of the island while on the 2nd evening there were hundreds (if not thousands) of Bulwer's around the chum slick. European Storm petrel Hydrobates pelagicus were also observed everyday; though these are (supposedly) only passing through Madeira during their migration...
14th June 2024 - NW wind between 6 to 8 knots and 0.5 meters waves from NE. A much calmer day!

13th June 2024 - NE wind varying between 9 and 14 knots and 1 meter waves waves from the same direction
6 Pterodroma sp. - 6 on the way up
3 Desertas/Fea's Petrel Pterodroma feae/deserta - 2 on the way
