Bonaparte's Gull in Funchal harbor

Since middle February one Bonaparte's Gull Larus philadelphia has been seen in Funchal harbor. Madeira Wind Birds team (Hugo & Catarina) had spot it several times though it was hard to take a picture. Finally, on the 28th of March 2007 this North American vagrant was near enough for some pictures. So here is one more North American species that visit Madeira during its winter holidays.
